"Last night was my second visit as well. The first visit was on their opening night, and though I thought things were good then, they were even better last night.

I ordered the Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich and our order came up fast, in about 10 minutes or less I would say. The sandwich was hot and juicy. In fact it was so good and moist that I had finished 75% of it, and that’s a lot of BBQ, before I even thought about taking a sip of my drink.

I loved the Saratoga chips but wish my wife would have gotten her own order.

On this visit I could not help but notice a new rail road crossing sign and a miniature train station at the front entrance. I also noticed some new construction out front, which looks like a future outdoor seating area. When that’s done it should be a nice addition to an already charming restaurant.

I look forward to going back soon." - 5/9/2008 9:37:03 AM

"My husband and I have been there twice so far, having had a nice assortment of things... they'd been open a couple weeks before we even noticed they were there (we tend to take a back  way out of town to the highway or Target).

Ribs are Great! I've had the Spare Ribs and the Baby Backs, and both were fabulous. Smokey with a nice crust. They serve wet or dry so  tell them if you want to dope them up yourself.  Sides are HUGE and tasty. I've had some of my Hubby's catfish, and it was also just great. We had a Pecan pie sunday thing t hat was really great.

The pick two combo  is $19 and I got a full rack of Spare Ribs and enough puled pork for TWO snadwiches. My hubby got the ribs and foot long suasage. We ate the leftovers for another entire dinner  - and a lunch!

The baby back 1/2 rack meal is $13 so very nicely priced.

The atmosphere is very nice, dark red walls and dark wood with a train theme, nicely appointed an they don't have the tables crammed too close together, they could actually put more in and still have healthy aisles. Staff is good, or waitresses have been great both times.

So happy this is in town! I know we'll be there often!" - 5/1/2008 11:02:00 AM

"Their food was a very good, and the service was good, but the kitchen seemed slow to turn out orders, probably just need some more practice." - 4/8/2008 9:42:29 AM

"The food was pretty good when I finally got it.  The first thing I ordered wasn't ready so I had to substitute.  They forgot to bring out my fries and it took way too long to get the food.  Good food but bad service" - 4/8/2008 9:38:00 AM

"I ate there Saturday, March 29th.  They had just opened on the previous Thursday.  Service was a little slow, but that is to be expected two days after they opened the door.

I was impressed with the friendly staff, the atmosphere and with the food.  The prices were average for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere, higher than average bar-b-que chain type joint, but this is not a franchise restaurant, it is locally owned and operated.  Matter of fact two of the owners were in attendance and working the day I went in there.

Our server, a very cute and friendly girl told us that they were trying to open up slow, to give the employees time to get all of the bugs ironed out before they announced the Grand Opening.

They are also planning on having an outdoor eating, drinking and smoking area.

I am sure that I will make this establishment one of my regular stopping places.

"Poor food quality. Above average service, nice enviroment. Priced too high for the quality of the food." - 4/2/2008 11:19:56 AM
