"Let me tell you it is hard to keep anything nice in Middletown anymore. The quality of middletown has gone down, as a whole. I have witnessed customers at Danbarry, and NOT just teenagers, have no respect for the place. Who would keep putting money into, for people to just destroy.?!?! I have also witnessed over and over, the parents dropping off the teenagers at the theater... those teenagers go inside those doors, away from their parents....and Booom! it is on! Takes a whole staff of "babysitters".... to try and keep the theater going. I say outlaw the drop offs, and you will see a huge turn around in the business!" - 3/11/2009 7:22:46 PM

"need a lot of updating. new screens, new projectors, new speakers, new everything. I hate how they put the movies playing on the side of the building where you can't see it unless you're coming east on 122!!! ALso, it is ALWAYS missing letters. "Wh c n re d thi ?" for a real movie place go to The Rave." - 2/29/2008 10:10:39 AM

"Every time I go I leave disappointed and not because of the movies. Bottom line is that it could be a nice place but it is not well run. If you doubt that opinion just look in the 4x4 junk of an office they keep out front on the right as you are walking in. If I am wrong and this is not an office excuse my ignorance. But if it’s not an office then it must be the janitor’s closet so please keep the door shut." - 8/11/2007 9:07:21 PM

"This place is the crappiest theatre around. The film is always off color, the sound always terrible, and the lobby is a horrendous mess. I love this place because it makes me feel better than everyone else there." - 8/11/2007 4:38:06 PM

"I much rather go to any of the other theaters around than Danbarry. I wish it was nicer because it would be so much more convienent, but I haven't been there in years." - 7/23/2007 5:32:06 PM

"Perhaps I'm not as picky about my rare movie theater experience, but I would have no preference between Danbarry, Rave, or Showcase. Danbarry's closer, so it would get my vote." - 7/17/2007 9:24:43 AM

"Danbarry Cinemas is really just not worth it anymore. Their movie quality is poor at best, and the sound quality is horrible usually, either too loud or crackly or soft. Lighting is always too bright or they forget to turn it off when the movie starts. Much better to drive 15 minutes down to the Rave." - 7/16/2007 3:43:32 PM
