"i am laughing so hard at the comments..I agree. The dont ever turn the air conditioner on and the register time is terrible. I dont shop here...mostly because of the ventilation problem..they are too cheap to turn on the air conditioner. it isnt worth it to me...i would rather go to walmart where at least they ventilate the joint. "I haven't even been in there for about five years because I always hated that store. Couldn't find the prices on anything, I could never find what I was looking for (as in, they didn't HAVE it), and the store always felt grubby and dirty. WalMart isn't far behind. "K-Mart… As my 5 year old would say “Why?”. Seeing this thread reminded me of the time I went in there about 6 months ago and they had taken a JVC Camcorder and with Duct Tape fastened it to the top of a TV to use as a security camera to watch the front door. "K-Mart sucks. Plain and simple. The service sucks. The selection of products sucks. And most importantly, the store SUCKS. It is so dirty and nasty, it's gross. They redid all the checkout registers.... not by replacing the countertops, no... they just put sticky laminate squares on them!! The kind I used in my bathroom floor!
